A paperback copy of the Brain Tan Diary, written by Cher from Wildfibre Organic Tannery and covers traditional tanning from cultures around the world and dives deep into the many different types of hides and their unique prep and processes, all following one basic method in easy to follow steps, full troubleshooting chapter and so much more, that challenges you to practice this ancestral craft and connecting with these natural resources and fibres. 
One Fleshing Ulu, our 'in house favorite' tool for fleahing sheep and deer and ready to use without risk of cutting your hide. 
One package of Wildfibre Tanning powder, our very own, brain substitute. Formulated with an animal base and the perfect ratio of fats to mimic natural brains. This food grade non toxic formula is an easy, just add water and blend product, making your tanning process quick, easy, environmentally friendly, septic safe and pet safe (however pets love to eat this, it is food grade ingredients but we advise to keep out of reach if pets so they don't eat it all 😉)
One salted sheepskin, colors vary, but we can try to accommodate specific requests. All our sheepskins are locally raised and luxurious fibre breeds that have extremely soft wool with beautiful curls (each unique and depending on breeds available). Once we choose a perfect hide for you, we will let you know the breed and characteristics of the wool so you know what type of completed sheepskin you can expect. Not all breeds are suitable for floor rugs, and we can choose a hide based on your intended use.
